The National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc. – Greater Huntsville Area Chapter (NCBW-GHAC)
The Coalition of 100 Black Women was founded in 1971 by a group of dedicated African American women in New York City. In 1981, the group created a national organization and renamed it The National Coalition of 100 Black Women (NCBW). Today, NCBW consists of more than 7,000 members representing 60 chapters in 28 states and the District of Columbia.
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women (NCBW), Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that advocates on behalf of Black women and girls. Our members address concerns in economic empowerment, education, health and public policy, to promote gender and racial equity.
